What the Shopify connection does

Paid order: the loyalty card you chose gets one stamp per order, or points based on the subtotal times the points-per-dollar rate. If the customer didn’t have a card yet, one is issued at that moment.

New customer: their record is created in Krealo Wallet and the welcome card is issued. The install link is saved in a Shopify customer field (the “krealo_wallet.install_url” metafield), which you drop into your welcome email or a Shopify Flow.

Getting started

1. Create the loyalty card in Krealo Wallet (stamps or points) and publish it.

2. The link starts from Shopify; the app is not embedded in the store admin, you set everything up in the Krealo Wallet dashboard. Its Shopify App Store listing is not published yet: write to info@krealomedia.com to link your store in the meantime.

3. Pick the card that earns, the card used as the welcome gift, then turn the connection on or pause it.

Online and in store, billing and data

The Essentiel plan already includes the Shopify app; the API, webhooks and MCP server are reserved for Pro and Entreprise. If your store is linked, the subscription is paid on your Shopify bill.

Shopify’s privacy requests are handled: deleting a customer erases their record. A refund can be corrected by hand in the customer’s record. Data is hosted in Canada (Montreal).

Frequently asked questions

Do my customers need a Shopify account for the card?

No. They open a link and add the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. It’s your Shopify orders that make it grow.

Are points calculated on the order total?

On the subtotal, multiplied by the points-per-dollar rate you set. In stamp mode it’s one stamp per paid order.

Can I use the same card in store?

Yes. The card scans at the counter with a phone or tablet to add a stamp, like any other card.

Does the app slow down my store?

It adds nothing to your theme: the link with Shopify runs on order and customer notifications that Krealo Wallet receives.
